The Kyrgyz Republic welcomes the United Nations Security Council Resolution on a ceasefire in the Gaza Strip, adopted on March 25, 2024, and expresses hope that this decision will be implemented in the near future, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic said.
The Kyrgyz Republic stands for consolidating the efforts of the world community, primarily the UN Security Council, for the earliest possible complete cessation of hostilities and resolution of the humanitarian crisis in the Gaza Strip, the beginning of political dialogue and the peaceful resolution of the Palestinian-Israeli conflict in accordance with UN resolutions based on the principle of “two states for two peoples,” the statement said.
