Bishkek, July 9, 2018. / Kabar /. Kyrgyzstan will begin to focus on growing export-oriented products since 2019, Zhanybek Kerimaliev, Deputy Minister of Agriculture, Food Industry and Melioration told reporters at Kabar News Agency.

He said that exports of high demand goods abroad will begin starting since 2019.

"Export-oriented products include: apples, apricots, prunes from Aksy region. Also strawberries, raspberries are popular. It should be noted that Kyrgyzstan's cherry sweet cherry began to be exported to China. The Chinese side concluded agreements with 14 farms in Osh oblast. The supply will start to China from next year," he said.

Also popular are onions and carrots.

"There is no need to talk about beans, because it is our brand," the deputy head of the Ministry of Agriculture added.
