Bishkek, Dec. 24, 2021. / Kabar /. The new edition of the Tax Code introduces the VAT payment regime for such large companies as Google, Yandex, Facebook, Head of the Tax Policy Department of the Ministry of Economy and Commerce of Kyrgyzstan Kubanychbek Ysabekov said during a press conference at Kabar News Agency.
The specialist added that the amount of tax will make 15%.
"When developing the code, we relied on the experience of other countries, consulted, also had meetings with representatives of the U.S. Embassy, through which we passed the document to these companies. Such companies as Google, Yandex, Facebook will not need to open offices, it will be enough to register electronically and distantly submit reports and pay taxes," he said.
Ysabekov also noted that in Uzbekistan the amount of VAT receipts of these companies amounted to about $18 million.
