Kyrgyzstan wins another license for Olympic Games in Tokyo

Bishkek, April 26, 2021. / Kabar / . Member of the national fencing team of the Kyrgyz Republic Roman Petrov took part in the qualifying Asian-Pacific tournament in Tashkent (Uzbekistan).

Kyrgyzstani Petrov earned the gold medal and won a license for the 32nd Summer Olympics in Tokyo.

As of today, Kyrgyzstan has 10 licenses for the Tokyo Olympics: 5 were won by wrestlers Aisuluu Tynybekova, Atabek Azisbekov, Zholaman Sharshenbekov, Uzur Zhusupbekov, Akzhol Makhmudov, track and field athletes Maria Korobitskaya, Darya Maslova and Yulia Andreyeva won 3 licenses for the Games, swimmer Denis Petrashov and fencer Roman Petrov.
