Kyrgyzstan wrestlers win gold and bronze medals at open championship in Russia

Bishkek, April 18 / Kabar /. Kyrgyzstan wrestlers won gold and bronze medals at the open championship of Altai territory, the press service of the State Sports Agency reported.

According to the information, the Second open championship of the Altai Territory in memory of Raffi Israelyan on Greco-Roman wrestling took place in Barnaul on April 8-9.

Athletes from Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, the Altai Republic, Krasnoyarsk Territory, Tyumen, Novosibirsk, Kemerovo, Tomsk regions took part in the competition.

Kyrgyz sportsman Milyas Markov won the gold medal in the weight category up to 130 kg.

Another Kyrgyz wrestler Aram Akopyan won a bronze medal in the weight category up to 98 kg.
