Kyrgyzstan youth futsal team drops out of Asian Championship

Bishkek, June 15, 2019. /Kabar/ . The Kyrgyzstan futsal team has dropped out of the U-20 Asian championship.

The press service of the Football Federation of the Kyrgyz Republic reported that the domestic team on June 15 held a second match. The opponent was the Lebanese team, which won the match with a score of 3:2.

The competition is attended by 12 teams that have passed the qualifying round in December last year.

At that time, the Kyrgyz national team reached the main round of the championship, ahead of the youth teams of Tajikistan and Uzbekistan.

Futsal (also known as fútsal or footsal) is a variant of association football played on a hard court, smaller than a football pitch, and mainly indoors. It can be considered a version of five-a-side football.
