Bishkek, Dec.1, 2017. /Kabar/. The United States Agency for International Development (USAID) facilitates the registration of guest houses and yurt camps of Kyrgyzstan in the international online reservation system.
In November, USAID specialists conducted a series of practical trainings for guest houses and yurt camps on registration and proper promotion of their business through international systems.
Upon completion of the training, 39 new guest houses and yurt camps in Naryn and Issyk-Kul oblasts were registered on Booking.com
The attraction of international tourists through the online booking system will help the owners of guest houses to plan and rent out their hotel rooms. This will help to increase their profits from investments. The booking.com system is one of the largest booking systems, through which more than 1.2 million people book rooms daily.
Kyrgyz entrepreneurs of the hotel business and owners of yurt towns can now use this electronic platform to advertise their premises. It also will help to more efficiently manage their own reservation system.
As an example, some entrepreneurs in Karakol say they received over 40% of their reservations both in summer and winter season through the Booking.com system.
