Bishkek, Aug.6, 2019. /Kabar/. The State Agency for Youth Affairs, Physical Culture and Sports allocated KGS 19 million 810 thousand for a scholarship to athletes.
The Agency’s press service said the average number of scholarship holders in the reporting period was 142. In May, KGS 3 million 600 thousand were paid to 154 sportsmen, in June, 133 athletes got scholarships in the amount of KGS 3 million 245 thousand.
Since January, winners of last year's Asian Games - Darya Maslova, Aisuluu Tynybekova and Torokan Bagynbai uulu were receiving the allowance of KGS 60,000. Athletes in freestyle and Greco-Roman wrestling were receiving KGS 50,000 each month.
The winners of gold medals of the 2018 World Championship on Alysh (belt wrestling) received KGS 25 thousand each, silver medalists were given KGS 20 thousand each. The owners of the third places received KGS 15 thousand each.
