Bishkek, Mar.12, 2020. /Kabar/. A Kyrgyz woman fell out of the second floor in China by negligence, the press service of the Kyrgyz Foreign Ministry said.
Some social networks published information about a Kyrgyz citizen, "who hurt her back as a result of jumping from the balcony of the second floor in connection with the coronavirus infection”.
"The Kyrgyz Embassy in Beijing, with reference to the information provided by the administration of the Chinese medical institution, reported that on Mar. 6, 2020 at 9:20 a.m. a Kyrgyz citizen, born in 1996, was hospitalized in the reception room of medical institution of Yiwu city with various injuries, who inadvertently fell out of the second floor of the open balcony. Thus, this incident is not connected with the coronavirus situation in China,” the report says.
According to the administration of the medical institution, transport of Kyrgyz citizen to her home country is not recommended, as this process may have a negative impact on her health, as well as its subsequent restoration.
At present, she is under round-the-clock medical supervision and receives all necessary medical assistance.
The Embassy is working with the Chinese state and local authorities to provide maximum assistance to the aforementioned citizen in receiving treatment in China, and to find the means to pay for her treatment.
The Kyrgyz Embassy asks citizens not to make the situation worse and to use verified information, as well as to treat with understanding the health condition of compatriot who needs moral support.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs expresses hope for further speedy recovery of the Kyrgyz citizen.
