Kyrgyzstani footballer moved to FC Moscow Torpedo

Bishkek, Jan.11, 2025. /Kabar/. Russian football club of the first league Torpedo Moscow reported on its official website that midfielder of Kyrgyzstan’s national football team Gulzhigit Alykulov signed a contract with the club.

The contract with Torpedo Moscow is until the end of 2027.

In the 2024 season, Alykulov played for Belarusian club Neman from Grodno, where he played 30 matches, scored 8 goals and made 3 assists. The Kyrgyzstani became the silver medalist of the Belarusian championship, the winner of the Cup of the country and was recognized as the best player of the team.

Gulzhigit Alykulov was born on Nov. 25, 2000 in Kyrgyzstan. He is a pupil of the Dordoi football school (Bishkek) and previously played for the clubs Antalyaspor-m (Turkey), Kara-Balta and Alga (Kyrgyzstan), Kairat (Kazakhstan). He has the Kazakhstan Championship (2020), Kazakhstan Cup (2021), as well as individual achievements, including being named Neman's best player in the 2019 and 2024 seasons.

Torpedo Moscow is playing in the Russian First League this season and is second in the standings.
