Bishkek, July 9, 2019. /Kabar/. Kyrgyzstan's Chyngyz Imangaliyev won the Eurasian distance equestrian championship, goldmustang reported.
The tournament was held on July 5 -7 July in Tver Oblast (Russia), which was attended by athletes from Russia, Belarus, Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan.
In the section CH-Eurasia-E 2* 120 km the victory went to the domestic rider Imangalyiev. On horseback, his average speed made 16.28 km/h. His victory brought a gold medal to Kyrgyzstan.
Endurance riding is an equestrian sport based on controlled long-distance races. It is one of the international competitions recognized by the FEI. Endurance rides can be any distance, though they are rarely over 160 km for a one-day competition.
