Bishkek, March 23, 2021 . / Kabar /. Members of Kyrgyzstan’s national team in para athletics Adilet Kamchybekov and Arstanbek Bazarkulov, led by coach Almaz Abirov, took part in the Para Athletics Grand Prix, held on March 18-20 in Tunisia, the press service of the Kyrgyz Ministry of Culture, Information, Sports and Youth Policy said on Tuesday.
Adilet Kamchybekov won a bronze medal in the discus throw. He also competed in the javelin throw (F-42 standing), where he placed 7th, and in the shot put, where he placed 5th.
In addition, Arstanbek Bazarkulov competed in the group F-34 (in the wheelchair) in the javelin throw took 8th place, in the shot put 7th place, discus throw took 4th place.
More than 600 sportsmen from 59 countries of the world took part in the tournament.
