Kyrgyzstani mountaineer plans to climb Everest

Bishkek, April 11, 2021 . / Kabar / . Kyrgyzstani mountaineer Eduard Kubatov plans to climb the world's highest peak - Everest, the press service of the State Agency for Youth Affairs, Physical Culture and Sports of the Kyrgyz Republic reported.

Head of the Analysis and Development of High Performance Sport Department of the Youth Affairs Agency Marat Askarbekov met with Eduard Kubatov.

On behalf of the State Agency Marat Askarbekov wished the climber successful conquests of new peaks, good weather and a happy return.

Kyrgyzstani Kubatov is part of an international expedition planning an ascent to the world's highest peak, Everest (8848.8 meters, Nepal).

The expedition begins April 12, led by legendary Russian mountaineer Alexander Abramov, and will continue until the end of May 2021. The ascent is planned along the southern route from Nepal. The expedition includes experienced and strong climbers from the Russian Federation, Israel, Malaysia, Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan.
