Bishkek, April 17, 2023. / Kabar/. The sacred night of Kadyr tun ( Night of Power, also known as Laylat al-Qadr) this year will be celebrated by Muslims from April 17 to 18, the press service of the Spiritual Administration of Muslims of Kyrgyzstan reported.
Kadyr tun is celebrated on the night of the 26th to the 27th day of fasting. This year Ramadan started on March 23.
Kadyr tun is one of the last ten nights of fasting in the month of Ramadan. On this night, the first revelation was sent down to the Prophet Muhammad (S.A.V.).
To spend it in worship is the same as spending 1,000 months in worship, that is, more than 83 years. On the Night of Power, it is customary to ask God for forgiveness for the sins committed and read the Koran.
