Kyrgyzstani transfers KGS 10M to special account for foreign debt repayment

Bishkek, Jan. 20, 2021. /Kabar/. Kyrgyzstani transferred KGS 10 million (about USD 117 thousand 924) to a special account for repayment of foreign debt opened by the Ministry of Finance, Kabar Agency has learnt from the press service of the republic’s Finance Ministry.

It is specified that KGS 10 million were transferred on Jan. 19 by Umar Mukhammedov.

Thus, as of Jan. 20, the special account of the Ministry of Finance for repayment of foreign debt received KGS 11 million 29 thousand 50.

The media reported that Mukhammedov, 26, is a resident of Dzhalal-Abad Oblast of the country. He is engaged in entrepreneurship.

As of Nov. 30, 2020, the amount of Kyrgyzstan’s public debt (external + internal) made up $4 billion 887.46 million – in soms the debt amounts KGS 414 billion 448.46 million.
