Kyrgyzstani wins bronze at jiu-jitsu tournament in UAE

Bishkek, Jan. 18, 2019. /Kabar/. Kyrgyzstani Murtazali Murtazaliyev won a bronze medal at the international jiu-jitsu tournament ABU DHABI GRAND SLAM JIU-JITSU WORLD TOUR 2018-19, the official website of the competition reported.

Murtazaliyev competed in the weight category up to 77 kg. In the first fight, he lost to future champion from Brazil Goutturier Barbosa with the score of 7:2. Then he defeated representative of France Jean-Louis Mendoza (7: 6).Iin the fight for third place, he beat fighter from the UAE (8:7).

As a result – the first place went to the sportsman from Brazil, the second – to Hussein Al Rashid (Jordan), the participant from Kyrgyzstan ranked third.
