Kyrgyzstani wins bronze medal at World Boxing Championship among students in Russia

Osh, Sept. 11, 2018. /Kabar/. Kyrgyz sportsman Seyitbek Munarbek uulu won the bronze medal at the World Boxing Championship among students, which took place on September 1-6 in Elista (Russia).

The medalist of the international tournament was greeted today at the airport of Osh. Within the welcoming ceremony, representative of the Osh City Committee for Physical Culture and Sports Kylychbek Sarkarbaev noted the sportsman’s contribution to the development and promotion of boxing in Osh.

Seyitbek Munarbek uulu competed in the weight category up to 60 kg. He lost to sportsman from Belarus Dmitry Asanov in the semi-final bout with the score of 5:0. As a result, Seyitbek Munarbek uulu became the bronze medal winner.
