Bishkek, Mar. 20, 2019. /Kabar/. Sportswoman from Kyrgyzstan Gulzada Kalykul Kyzy took the first place at the special Athletics Olympiad in the United Arab Emirates.
The State Agency for Youth, Physical Education and Sports reported that the tournament is being held in the city of Abu Dhabi with the participation of more than 7 thousand athletes from 170 countries.
The Kyrgyz athlete won the gold medal in the 100 meter race, having completed this distance in 20.1 seconds. The second place is held by the representative of China, Yiii Chao (21.04), followed by an athlete from Lebanon, Mariam Ali El Hajj Moussa (21.38).
At special Olympiads, athletes with intellectual disabilities compete regardless of their level of ability.
