Bishkek, Sept. 22, 2022 . / Kabar / . Mukhammadali Umarov from Kyrgyzstan became a winner of the 42nd International Quran Competition.
The contest was held in Mecca, Saudi Arabia, Kabar News Agency has learnt from the press service of the Spiritual Administration of Muslims of Kyrgyzstan.
Umarov won a prize of SAR 250,000, or KGS 5,500,000.
He memorized 600 pages of the holy book of the Quran.
