Bishkek, Jan.20, 2020./Kabar/. Athletes from Kyrgyzstan competed on Sunday at the third Winter Olympic Games. The National Olympic Committee of the Kyrgyz Republic has published photographs of the athletes.
The Games are taking place these days in Lausanne, Switzerland.
Elena Bondarets competed in cross-country skiing, her time-3 hours and 43 minutes. She took 77th place, ahead of competitors from six countries.
Kyrgyzstan’s Islam Turganbayev started at the Olympics for the first time. In cross-country skiing competitions, he became 85th with a time of 4 hours and 46 minutes.
At the distance, Turganbayev finished with result 6 hours and 3 minutes, becoming 81st.
The athletes have yet to perform on Jan. 21.
