Kyrgyzstanis became two-time world champions in ballroom dancing in Bosnia and Herzegovina

Bishkek, Dec.2, 2024. /Kabar/. Sarajevo (Bosnia and Herzegovina) hosted on Nov. 30 the annual International Tournament on Sports, Ballroom Dancing “WDSF Sarajevo Dance Festival 2024”.

The tournament was attended by athletes from the USA, China, France, Italy, Latvia, Poland, Portugal, Japan and many other European and Asian countries (over 30 countries), the Dance Sport Federation of Kyrgyzstan reported.

The tournament was held under the auspices of the World Dance Sport Federation - WDSF.

“In the category Youth - Latin dance couple from Kyrgyzstan Vladimir Vyrleev and Maria Proshletsova took the first place, winning the gold medal and the title of world champions out of 68 couples from more than 30 countries, repeating last year's result in Armenia,” the report says.

Vladimir Vyrleev and Maria Proshletsova became two-time world champions among youth in the Latin-American program.
