Kyrgyzstanis evacuated from Afghanistan to Qatar arrive in Bishkek

In connection with the military-political situation in the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic continues to work on organizing the evacuation of Kyrgyz citizens temporarily staying in Afghanistan, the report said.

With the assistance of the Embassy of the Kyrgyz Republic in the State of Qatar, 11 Kyrgyz citizens, who were previously evacuated to Qatar from Afghanistan by a special flight organized by the American side arrived in Bishkek by the Doha-Dubai-Bishkek flight on August 23 at 04:40. As a result of the negotiations held by the Embassy, ​​the employers provided the citizens of the Kyrgyz Republic with air tickets for the specified route.

In addition, with the assistance of the Kyrgyz Embassy in Afghanistan, on August 22, 2021, a citizen of the Kyrgyz Republic was additionally evacuated by a special flight from Kabul to Almaty.

The citizens of the Kyrgyz Republic who remained on the territory of Afghanistan are safe in the building of the diplomatic mission of Kyrgyzstan and will be returned to their homeland in the near future, the ministry said.
