Bishkek, June 26, 2020. /Kabar/. Kyrgyzstan’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs explained in which case citizens can go for treatment in Turkey.
"When entering the country patients and their accompanying persons (not more than two) will be checked for coronavirus on a fee basis," the press service of the Kyrgyz MFA said.
According to the Directorate General of Migration Management of Turkey, visa exemption is valid when traveling for tourism purposes.
"For applications such as treatment, family reunion, education and accompaniment, a visa request should be made to the Turkish Embassy in the Kyrgyz Republic. Citizens should provide a permit letter from the International Health Services Inc. (USHAS) to confirm treatment," the report says.
Only during the COVID-19 pandemic, foreign nationals who are exempted from visas can cross the Turkish border by submitting an invitation or permission from USHAS at a border crossing point using valid visas.
