Bishkek, Dec. 12, 2020 /Kabar/. A humanitarian cargo in the form of medical supplies addressed to the needs of medical workers of health care institutions of Kyrgyzstan arrived on Dec. 12 in Bishkek.
According to the press service of the Kyrgyz Foreign Ministry, the humanitarian aid were delivered in the republic on board of plane from Russia’s Yekaterinburg.
The aid was collected by employees of the Consulate General of the Kyrgyz Republic in Yekaterinburg along with leaders and activists of Kyrgyz diaspora associations.
Individual entrepreneurs, medical workers, and citizens from among compatriots living in the capital of the Sverdlovsk Region of Russia, as well as Kyrgyzstanis residing in Magnitogorsk, Chelyabinsk Region took part in the fundraising effort.
The collected funds were used to purchase medical products - personal protective equipment, including gowns, respirators, gloves and medical masks for medical workers.
The Consulate General sincerely thanks the compatriots who provided regular assistance to medical institutions in Kyrgyzstan, as well as Ural Airlines, which delivered the shipment at no charge.
