Bishkek, July 17, 2020. /Kabar/. Compatriots from Russia’s Novosibirsk sent to Kyrgyzstan medicines worth RUB 650,000 (about $ 9,061), the press service of the Zamandash (Contemporary) Association said.

Main recipients of humanitarian aid were residents of Naryn Oblast, Issyk-Kul Oblast and Chui Oblast.

Kyrgyzstanis in the Russian city are concerned about the situation in the country, so they decided to provide all possible assistance.

"Our relatives and friends live in Kyrgyzstan. The information about the shortage of medicines, such as Heparin and Clexane, prompted us to start collecting money to buy these medicines and send them home," said the Kyrgyz diaspora chairman in Novosibirsk.
