Bishkek, July 11, 2020. / Kabar /. Compatriots living in the United States collected funds for oxygen devices and sent them to Kyrgyzstan, the State Agency for Youth, Physical Culture and Sports of the Kyrgyz Republic reported.
It is specified that they were delivered to the Sports and Rehabilitation Center in Bishkek.
“Oxygen devices were purchased for funds raised by the Kyrgyz diaspora “Kyrgyz Yntymak Fund” in Philadelphia. In total, about USD 25 thousand were raised, for which 24 oxygen devices were purchased. 12 devices were sent to the city of Balykchy, 2 devices were sent to Talas region, 10 devices were transferred to Bishkek,” the report said.
The cargo was met by Deputy Director of the State Agency Kanatbek Arpachiev, head doctor of the Rehabilitation Center Sagyndyk Aitbaev, head coach of the Kyrgyz freestyle wrestling team Ruslan Madzhinov, who organized the purchase and delivery of the devices together with Tabyldy uulu Suimonkul and Bakyt Shamshiev.
“On behalf of the State Agency and the all sports community, I express my gratitude to the athletes and our compatriots living in the USA, who help people in this difficult period for our country. We also express our deep gratitude to Kyrgyz trainers Ruslan Madzhinov, Tabyldy uulu Suimonkul. The Kyrgyz people will not forget this work and these efforts. Now we all see that leading athletes such as Aisuluu Tynybekova, Abdurakhman Murtazaliev, Aivaz Omorkanov, Zholaman Sharshenbekov, Ulukbek Zholdoshbekov, having a clear citizenship, do not stand aside, organize and provide assistance, contributing to the fight against the coronavirus pandemic,” Arpachiev said thanking and expressing hope that they will continue to do good.
He also wished the sick people to get well soon and everyone good health, the State Agency for Youth, Physical Culture and Sports said.
