Kyrgyzstanis not yet permitted to perform small Hajj

Bishkek, Oct. 28, 2020. /Kabar/. Saudi Arabia has published a list of countries whose citizens are allowed to perform Umrah (paying a visit to Ka'bah- the House of God and the objective for Muslims’ pilgrimages) and countries that are prohibited to perform Hajj.

According to the Spiritual Board of Muslims of Kyrgyzstan, from Nov. 1, Saudi Arabia begins to receive foreign nationals from 108 countries wishing to perform a small Hajj (Umrah). Tajikistan, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, China, Turkey, Azerbaijan and Belarus are among countries whose citizens are allowed to carry out a pilgrimage.

Among the countries that are temporarily forbidden to visit Umrah - Iran, Egypt, Qatar, Italy and Kyrgyzstan.

Citizens of Kuwait, Russia, Great Britain, the United States are also not permitted to visit Saudi Arabia for pilgrimage.

Earlier, Saudi Arabia announced that countries where a decline in coronavirus infection cases is observed will be presented a schedule for doing Umrah.
