Bishkek, Nov. 20, 2018. /Kabar/. A Kyrgyz delegation headed by President of the Association of Health Institutions of Issнk-Kul Akjoltay Nasirdinov is taking part in the First International Investment Forum in Tourism Sphere in Tashkent, a Kabar correspondent reported from the venue.
Nasirdinov told that this forum is useful not only in terms of development of the tourism potential of Uzbekistan, but also the entire region of Central Asia.
“Experience shows that foreign travel companies see Central Asia as a single region of travel and recreation for their clients,” he said.
“I am impressed that Uzbekistan pays great attention to the development of tourism, this issue has been raised to the level of state policy, in particular, there is a separate tourism development committee,” Nasirdinov added.
The main task of the forum is attracting investment in the industry, developing international cooperation and presenting the tourist potential of Uzbekistan.
Over 300 participants from 48 countries are taking part in it. During the event, it is planned to present more than 500 investment projects from all regions of Uzbekistan.
Following the event, signing of agreements and memorandums of cooperation between investors and representatives of the tourism sector is expected.
