Bishkek, Nov. 28, 2018. /Kabar/. The largest international competition - the Free Pyramid world championship in billiard sports among men and women started in the Russian city of Tyumen. More than 80 of the world's best billiard players gathered for four days in the oblast center, of which 20 are women.
These are the best players from Russia, Ukraine, Latvia, Moldova, Serbia, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Lithuania, Kyrgyzstan, Poland, Spain, Armenia, Turkmenistan, Tajikistan and Belarus, tumen.kp.ru wrote.
On November 27, the players were registered and had drawing of lots. The competition itself started today at the Zdorovie sports complex.
The game of billiard players will be evaluated by 20 judges of the international category, including chief judge of the tournament Alexander Kokunin and chairman of the All-Russian Board of Judges of the Billiard Federation of Russia Arkady Loshakov.
There will be a chance to greet the participants at the opening of the tournament on November 29 at 18:00, the Center for Sports Training reported. The finals and awards ceremony are scheduled for December 1st.
