Bishkek, June 28, 2019. /Kabar/. ITF Open Asian Taekwondo Championship is held in Cholpon-Ata town, Issyk-Kul Oblast.
On the first day more than 200 sportsmen came out on the tatami of the Gazprom-children sports and recreation center and 58 sets of medals were played in the sections “sparring” and “forms” (complex exercises), the press service of the State Agency for Youth Affairs, Physical Culture and Sports reported.
According to the results of the performance on the first day, Kyrgyzstan’s national team won 80 medals (33 are gold, 21 silver and 26 bronze medals). Malaysia's team took second place with 6 gold, 3 silver and 3 bronze medals. The 3rd place is occupied by the Russian team. They have 4 gold and 2 silver medals.
