Kyrgyzstanis win 9 medals at World Mas-Wrestling Championship

Bishkek, Nov. 27, 2018. /Kabar/. Sportsmen from Kyrgyzstan won nine medals at the World Mas-Wrestling Championships, the press service of the State Agency for Youth, Physical Education and Sports reported.

The tournament was held in Yakutsk (Russia) on November 24-25, in which representatives of 39 countries took part.

In the competition, medals were provided in seven weight categories among men and in five weight categories among women. The team of the Kyrgyz Republic has four silver and five bronze medals in its collection.

The second places at the championship were taken by Azamat Asanov (60kg), Bekzhan Omuraliev (70kg), Azat Tashtanbekov (90kg), Ataybek Keldibek uulu (105). Dilbara Imankanova (55kg), Kudaynazar Alimov (70kg), Askat Dzhunushev (80kg), Ruslan Chynybek uulu (80kg), Emil Musuraliyev (90kg) won third places.

According to the results of the championship in the team competition, the team of Russia became the first (11 medals), it is followed by Kyrgyzstan, the national team of Uzbekistan closed the top three (7 medals).
