Bishkek, Dec.24, 2024. /Kabar/. The work of Kyrgyz citizens in Turkey provides the right to a pension in the future under a new agreement, the Social Fund of the Kyrgyz Republic reported Tuesday.
Since Nov.1, 2020, the Agreement on Social Security between the Governments of Kyrgyzstan and Turkiye came into force, which allows Kyrgyzstanis working in Turkey to receive a pension in the future.
According to the Ministry of Labor and Social Development of Kyrgyzstan, to date, 305 requests for length of service have been received from the Turkish government. Of these, 304 requests have been considered and answered accordingly.
Within the framework of this Treaty, one citizen of the Kyrgyz Republic has already received a pension from Turkiye, the amount of which is 490 Turkish Liras.
