One of the issues of Ala-Too literary and art magazine will be translated this year into Uzbek and published in Tashkent, chairman of the Union of Writers of Uzbekistan, chairman of the Uzbekistan-Kyrgyzstan Friendship Society, Uzbek national writer Muhammad Ali said at a meeting of the Friendship Society.
He said that an agreement has been reached with Kyrgyz colleagues to transfer one of the issues of the Uzbek magazine Shark Yulduzi to the Kyrgyz language and publish it in Bishkek.
"Let the Uzbek and Kyrgyz readers communicate with these publications in their own language. This project, I think, plays a great role in the further strengthening of friendship and brotherhood between our peoples. I urge you all to actively participate in the implementation of this initiative," Muhammad Ali said.
