Kyrgyzstan's Batken Oblast selects its own branded products

Osh, Mar.4, 2020. /Kabar/. A selection of 7 branded products of Batken Oblast was held on Mar.2 in Batken town.

The event took place under the One Village-One Product project.

The list of seven branded products of Batken Oblast includes:

- Batken carpet;

- Apricot scrub;

- Apricot oatmeal;

- Aspic;

- Sherbet;

- Natural sweets;

- Apricot flatbread.

Entrepreneurs involved in the production of these products will take part in the republican competition of branded products.

One of the main goals of the project is to use local resources to produce environmentally friendly products, produce these products under one Batken Product brand and sell them throughout Kyrgyzstan and export to other countries.

The project trains local producers to produce in accordance with national and global standards, monitor the condition of production halls to ensure they meet hygiene and sanitation standards, and assist in sales and marketing promotion.
