Bishkek, Oct.29, 2019 /Kabar/. The Republican Boxing Championships among adults is taking place at the Sports Palace named after Kaba uulu Kojomkul, the press service of the State Agency for Youth Affairs, Physical Culture and Sports reported.
66 athletes are participating in the competition.
Winners of the tournament will be known on Oct. 31.
“Dear participants, this is the championships before the Olympic Games. We will select the best boxers to win a license for the Olympic Games. I wish the participants good luck," President of the Boxing Federation of the Kyrgyz Republic Abdibakyt Khalmurzayev said at the opening ceremony.
