Kyrgyzstan's budget to receive about KGS 1 bln from privatization program

Bishkek, Oct. 5, 2021 . / Kabar / . If the privatization program is adopted, the 2021 budget will receive about KGS 1 billion, Head of the State Property Management Fund (SPMF) of Kyrgyzstan Mirlan Bakirov said during a meeting of the Jogorku Kenesh Committee on Tuesday.

According to Bakirov, after approval of the list of assets the process of evaluation of objects will begin, after which they will be sold through a competition or auction.

The head of the State Property Management Fund noted that the valuation of state assets will be carried out by an independent organization, which will be hired through a tender.

The official could not name the exact amount of funds, which came annually to the treasury from the enterprises included in the list subject to privatization.

"The income of Alfa Telecom CJSC (Megacom) every year is about KGS 1 billion, from this amount the state receives dividends to the budget", Bakirov said.
