Kyrgyzstan’s business ombudsman promises to work closely with business community

Bishkek, Oct.8, 2019. /Kabar/. At the session of the Council on Business and Investment Development Business Ombudsman of Kyrgyzstan Robin Ord-Smith promised to work closely with business community.

Robin Ord-Smith said he served the British ambassador to Kyrgyzstan and is therefore well aware of this trend.

“I look forward to taking up my duties. I will work closely with business structures. The country has a lot of experience in business structures and a lot of talented people. We fully support the government's efforts to improve the investment and business environment,” he said.

“Next week will be important because we start working on the draft law. We hope that if this project is adopted, it will help to create business structures,” he added.

In conclusion, Robin Ord-Smith said that, despite the fact that he is a foreign citizen, he intends to perform the work assigned to him.
