Bishkek, Feb. 1, 2023. / Kabar /. The Cabinet of Ministers of Kyrgyzstan adopted a resolution on the introduction of a temporary ban on the export of onions outside the territory of the country from January 31, 2023 for a period of 3 months.
According to the Ministry of Agriculture, this measure was taken as part of ensuring food security and containing prices for socially significant food products, in particular for onion, shallot, leek and other bulbous vegetables, fresh or chilled.
