Bishkek, Dec. 21, 2020. /Kabar/. The Central Commission for Elections and Referendum of the Kyrgyz Republic decided to accredit 42 representatives of various missions as international observers at the early presidential elections of the republic.
According to the CEC press service, as of Dec. 21, 2020, the Commission accredited 120 international observers from 23 countries representing 15 international organizations.
Thus, the list of accredited international observers:
- Hanns Seidel Foundation Representative Office in the Kyrgyz Republic - 1;
- Representation of the International Foundation for Electoral Systems (IFES) - 1;
- CEC of Moldova - 2;
- Interparliamentary Assembly of the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS IPA) - 34;
- CIS Mission - 28;
- CEC of Azerbaijan - 1;
- OSCE/ODIHR - 34;
- CEC of the Russian Federation - 1;
- Adenauer Foundation - 1;
- Embassy of Japan in the Kyrgyz Republic - 4;
- Russian Embassy in the Kyrgyz Republic - 2;
- Embassy of Mongolia in the Kyrgyz Republic - 1;
- Embassy of Azerbaijan in the Kyrgyz Republic - 2;
- CEC of Uzbekistan - 2;
- Mission of the Cooperation Council of Turkic Speaking States – 6.
A total of 18 candidates run for early presidential elections of Kyrgyzstan to be held on Jan. 10, 2021.
