Kyrgyzstan’s CEC registers 1,912 candidates from 15 political parties

Bishkek, Sept. 5, 2020 / Kabar /. The Central Election Commission (CEC) of Kyrgyzstan allowed 15 political parties to participate in the parliamentary elections, scheduled for Oct. 4, 2020.

According to the press service of the CEC, these parties nominated 1,957 candidates, of which 45 were excluded from the lists on their own statements.

A total of 1,912 candidates for deputies of the Parliament of the Kyrgyz Republic have been registered.

Out of 1,912 candidates, 618 or 32.32% are women.
