Kyrgyzstan's census to be held in spring of 2022

Bishkek, Nov. 4, 2021 . / Kabar / . In Kyrgyzstan, the Population and Housing Census will take place from March 25 to April 3, 2022.

The National Statistics Committee of the republic reported that Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Kyrgyzstan Akylbek Zhaparov signed on Oct. 22 a Decree "On preparation and conduct of population and housing census in the Kyrgyz Republic in 2022”.

Population and housing census will take place from March 25 to April 3, 2022 in the territory of the Kyrgyz Republic.

In remote areas of the republic the census will be conducted from April 23 to May 2, 2022.

The Population and Housing Census for the first time will be conducted electronically using a mobile application.
