Bishkek, Nov. 24, 2020 / Kabar /. The total number of COVID-19 cases in Kyrgyzstan reached 70,366, after registration of 481 new cases on Tuesday.
The Republican Headquarters for Combating COVID-19 said that Bishkek remains the worst-hit region in the country. 124 new cases were registered in the capital city over the last 24 hours, 176 in Chui Oblast and the rest of the cases were registered in other regions of the country.
Among the new cases 16 are medical workers, a total of 3,831.
The headquarters also reported 433 more recoveries and 4 more deaths, bringing the total recoveries to 61,593 and the death toll to 1,241.
Currently, 2,948 patients are being treated in hospitals, while 3,829 patients are receiving treatment at home.
3,084 PCR tests were conducted over the past day.
