Kyrgyzstan’s COVID-19 cases pass 93,000 mark

Bishkek, April 22, 2021. / Kabar /. The number of confirmed COVID-19 cases in Kyrgyzstan reached 93,006 on Thursday as 380 new cases were registered across the country in the past 24 hours.

The Republican Headquarters for Combating COVID-19 reported that the total number of recovered patients rose to 87,554 and the death toll to 1,566, including 164 new recoveries and

another 5 deaths.

Currently, 1,352 patients with COVID-19 are being treated in hospitals, including 52 in intensive care units, while another 1 556 patients are receiving treatment at home.

A total of 4,829 tests have been conducted over the past day.

Kyrgyzstan has started COVID-19 vaccination on March 29, to-date a total of 13,552 people received vaccination in the country.
