Kyrgyzstan’s COVID-19 cases reach 179,036

Bishkek, Oct. 7, 2021 / Kabar /. The total number of COVID-19 cases in Kyrgyzstan reached 179,036 after registration of 104 new cases on Thursday, according to data of the Republican Headquarters for Combating COVID-19.

Meanwhile, 84 people recovered during the past 24 hours, taking the overall recoveries to 173,796.

The death toll rose to 2,614 with two new fatalities during the last 24 hours.

Currently, 451 patients with coronavirus are receiving treatment in hospitals throughout the country and 690 patients are being treated at home.

The first COVID-19 was detected in Kyrgyzstan on March 18, 2020.
