Kyrgyzstan’s COVID-19 cases reach 54,005 with 547 new cases

Bishkek, Oct. 22, 2020 / Kabar /. The total number of COVID-19 cases in Kyrgyzstan rose to 54,006 on Thursday with 547 new registered cases.

According to the latest report of the country’s Republican Headquarters for Combating COVID-19, among the new cases 6 are medical workers, bringing the total number of contracted medical workers to 3,561.

282 patients recovered over the past 24 hours, raising the total recoveries in the country to 46,726.

4 new deaths are reported over the last 24 hours, the death toll stands at 1,122.

Currently, 2,919 patients are receiving treatment in hospitals throughout the country and 2,745 patients - at home.
