Bishkek, Jan. 17, 2021 / Kabar /. The total number of COVID-19 cases in Kyrgyzstan rose to 83,109 on Sunday, after an overnight registration of 123 new cases.
The Republican Headquarters for Combating COVID-19 said that of the total number of cases 4,158 are medical workers, including 4,055 recoveries.
Meanwhile, 128 patients have recovered over the past day, bringing the total cured and discharged to 78,994.
The death toll reached 1,384 with two virus-related deaths in the previous 24 hours.
Currently, 796 patients are being treated in hospitals, including 38 in intensive care units and 1,004 patients are receiving treatment at home.
1,716 laboratory tests for COVID-19 were conducted in the last 24 hours.
