Bishkek, March 17, 2021 / Kabar /. The total number of COVID-19 cases in Kyrgyzstan reached 87,045 after registration of 55 cases on Wednesday.
The Republican Headquarters for Combating COVID-19 said that 83,980 of the total number of cases have recovered, including 56 new recoveries over the past day, while one patient died, pushing the death toll to 1,485.
Meanwhile, there are 640 active cases in the country, 333 of them are in hospitals across the country and 307 patients are receiving treatment at home.
The headquarters also said that 4,208 medical workers contracted the virus since the pandemic with 4,195 of them having recovered.
A total of 4,095 tests have been conducted over the past day.
