Bishkek, June 7, 2020 / Kabar /. Kyrgyzstan’s COVID - 19 cases reached 2007 after 33 new cases registered on Sunday.

Deputy Minister of Health of Kyrgyzstan Nurbolot Usenbaev told a news briefing on Sunday that of the new cases one was imported, 26 are contacts of confirmed cases who were already under medical observation and six cases of unknown sources.

He also added that among the newly infected 6 are medical workers, bringing the total to 395 medical workers contracted COVID-19, including 275 recoveries.

1425 people have recovered from the virus, including 65 patients discharged from hospitals in the last 24 hours.

560 people remain hospitalized, and 2 patients are being treated in intensive care.

In total, 1461 people who have had contact with infected patients are under medical observation and another 8415 people are in home quarantine under the supervision of doctors.
