Kyrgyzstan’s COVID – 19 cases top 44,036 with 78 new cases

Bishkek, Sept. 2, 2020 / Kabar /. Kyrgyzstan reported on Wednesday 78 new COVID-19 cases, 44,036 in total.

Deputy Minister of Health of the country Nurbolot Usenbaev told at a news briefing that 246 people have recovered over the past day and discharged from hospitals, taking the total number of recoveries to 38,895.

Currently, 670 COVID-19 patients are still in hospitals throughout the country and 4,799 patients are receiving treatment at home.

The COVID-19 fatality rate in Kyrgyzstan stands at 1,060, as no new deaths have been registered in the last 24 hours.
