Kyrgyzstan’s death toll from COVID-19 reaches 1,060

Bishkek, Sept. 1, 2020. /Kabar/. One fatality from COVID-19 was registered in Kyrgyzstan in the past day.

At a news briefing at the Government House, Deputy Health Minister of Kyrgyzstan Nurbolot Usenbayev specified that the death penalty was recorded in the city of Bishkek.

Thus, 1 thousand 60 deaths from COVID-19 have been registered in the country. Of these, 264 people died from laboratory confirmed COVID-19 and 796 are cases of clinically confirmed coronavirus (pneumonia).

Kyrgyzstan reported on Tuesday 60 new COVID-19 cases, 43,958 in total.

Another 190 people have recovered past day and discharged from hospitals, taking the total number recoveries to 38,649.

Currently, 704 COVID-19 patients are still in hospitals throughout the country and 4,856 patients are receiving treatment at home.
